Innanzitutto è importante sentirsi a proprio agio con gli abiti che si indossano, per questo ognuno può personalizzare il proprio stile, scegliendo quello più congeniale alla propria personalità e al proprio carattere. Un uomo sicuro e deciso, nella vita avrà uno stile di abbigliamento altrettanto deciso e determinato. Ci sono anche quelli che, prediligendo capi classici e sobri, puntano tutto sugli accessori, risultando uomini curati e attenti ai particolari. Se invece si è eccentrici e si punta a stupire a tutti i costi, si sceglierà uno stile di impatto. Durante gli anni si sono sviluppati diversi stili, per esempio grunge, hiphop, hippy, militare, preppy, gotico, heavy metal, punk, vintage, sporty

1 Stile grunge:
Il grunge è uno stile giovanile americano degli anni ’80, diventato internazionale, che è stato consacrato dalla moda agli inizi degli anni ’90. I “Nirvana” sono il gruppo musicale di riferimento. Da Scervino a Richmond, per finire a Dsquared e Bottega Veneta, l’uomo dell’attuale stagione fredda è grunge, almeno da un punto di vista stilistico: eskimo indossato su pantaloni classici, maglie effetto vintage slabbrate e consunte, pull oversize dai bordi scuciti, pantaloni stretti in grossi anfibi in pelle. Da quando Marc Jacobs presentò nel ’92 la collezione pensata per Fred Perry, che segnò l’entrata ufficiale del grunge all’interno del fashion system, lo stile apparentemente impreciso ed improvvisato si è imposto come nuovo canone di vera eleganza e, paradossalmente, ricercatezza.

Anche in questo caso la moda si è impadronita di un prodotto urbano e ne ha fatto uno stile imperante, sia in passerella sia in strada, riuscendo subdolamente ad influenzare anche tutti quei giovanissimi che, pensando di utilizzare un codice di abbigliamento in rottura con i canoni che la società continuamente propone, sono in effetti le principali ed inconsapevoli vittime del tanto discusso “sistema”.

2 Stile hip hop:
Lo stile hip hop è nato agli inizi degli anni ’8O sulla scia del successo del genere musicale americano. Ha preso il via dai sobborghi newyorkesi ed è strutturato da: colori forti, pantaloni esageratamente larghi (perfetti per la breakdance e lo skate), scarpe da ginnastica, cappellini e vistose catene come accessori. Portabandiera di questo nuovo stile sono stati i cantanti rapper. Il marchio Dolce e Gabbana viene citato in numerose canzoni, di genere hip hop, fra cui Money On My Mind di Lil’ Wayne, My Humps dei Black Eyed Peas, P.I.M.P. di 50 Cent, Daddy di Kelis, Braveheart Party di Nas, Fashionista di Jimmy James e Elevator di Flo Rida Feat. Timbaland.

3 Stile hippy:
Lo stile hippy prende il nome dal movimento giovanile degli anni ’60. Così come il movimento beat che lo precedette e quello punk che venne subito dopo, i simboli e l’iconografia hippy mostravano un basso status sociale, coerentemente con ideali di povertà e semplicità, con un vestiario che rifletteva uno stile di vita disordinato e spesso vagabondo.

Sia i maschi che le donne hippie portavano i jeans e i capelli lunghi, ed entrambi portavano sandali o andavano scalzi. I maschi spesso portavano la barba. Sceglievano vestiti con colori brillanti e di taglio insolito, come pantaloni a zampa d’elefante, gilè, indumenti tie-dyed (t-shirt con disegni e colori psichedelici, spesso in cotone), dashiki (mezzi mantelli africani); molto popolari erano anche indumenti di taglio non occidentale e con motivi ispirati ai modelli dei nativi americani, degli africani e dei latino americani. Gran parte di questi indumenti era autoprodotta per contrastare la cultura delle aziende, e gli hippie spesso acquistavano i propri abiti nei mercatini delle pulci o dell’usato. Gli accessori preferiti, consistevano in oggetti della cultura indiana, copricapi, bandane e lunghe collane a grani.

Adesso ci sono molte persone che vestono così ma lo stile hippy non è affatto morto.

4 Stile militare:
Lo stile militare si ispira appunto alle divise militari nei colori e nelle forme: divise, verde militare, bottoni dorati, stivali da ussaro. Lo stile militare ha avuto nella storia della moda i suoi alti e bassi; poplarissimo soprattutto nei primissimi anni settanta, ritorna ora sostenuto da nomi di prestigio come Prada, Dior Homme e Burberry. L’uomo Burberry ama il fascino da cadetto. Al via giacche da parate, da aviatore, camicie da ufficiale o dal taglio squadrato, maglie a coste, sempre in stile militare, da abbinare a pantaloni ultra slim. Immancabile il trench, ma reso più semplice e quindi svuotato di dettagli, e la new 5

5 Stile preppy:

Lo stile che s’ispira all’abbigliamento degli studenti della Ivy League, popolare negli USA alla fine degli anni ’70 è definito preppy. Un trend che si è ispirato anche ai bravi ragazzi, degli anni ‘50, che frequentavano le scuole più prestigiose e indossavano capi casual-chic: un inno agli studenti che tra una lezione di diritto e un ballo di fine anno, sognavano di governare una nazione. L’uomo preppy non si separa mai dalle sue convinzioni, così come dalle giacchette e dai pantaloni extra slim, oppure dalle raffinate camicie blu e dalle mitiche polo. Il risultato è un uomo estremamente elegante, plagiato forse dai tanti serial come Glee o Gossip girl. Così la moda rinnega il gusto classico o quello troppo sportivo per rimpiazzarlo con un look da scolaretto, che non rappresenta solo una tendenza passeggera, ma piuttosto uno stile di vita. Gli outfit si completano con mocassini, calzini in vista, occhiali bordati di nero e cartellina porta documenti. In passerella non mancano le classiche fantasie da scolaretto, dunque via libera a rombi, righe e scacchi, proposti, su cravatte sottili e papillon. Esponente di questo stile è Coveri.

6 Stile gotico:
Lo stile gotico o moda goth, spesso in Italia impropriamente definita moda dark, stanno ad indicare vari tipi di abbigliamento e di stili estetici che caratterizzano le diverse categorie del movimento gotico. La stile comune è la tendenza ad usare il colore nero. La tipica moda gotica include dettagli come lo smalto nero, i vestiti neri, borchie, croci, trucco e capelli neri, piercing e catene. In alcune categorie di moda gotica, buone quantità di accessori sono ispirati alla moda vittoriana.

Lo stile gothic-post punk viene ulteriormente rinvigorito dalle influenze del glam rock che introduce elementi legati all’androginia: trucco e le gonne per gli uomini. Per l’uomo, ci sono tre prototipi rilevanti nell’ambito di questa scena gothic: elegant goth, goth metal e vampire goth.

Il primo è quello dandy, corretto e rivisto in chiave goth: cappotti e mantelli, magrissimo, viso pallido e occhi truccati con matita nera, camicia come con dei drappelli come quelle vestite da Lord Byron.

Il secondo prototipo rispecchia la moda metal goth (il più comune prototipo della categoria romantic goth) ed è caratterizzato da lunghi capelli neri tinti, t-shirt o camicie nere ,viole o bianche,pantaloni spesso in pelle ,trucco nero per evidenziare gli occhi, cappotto lungo in pelle sulla scia del film “Matrix” e new rock ai piedi.

Il terzo prototipo è una fusione tra i primi due prototipi con l’ aggiunta di alcuni elementi: in questo sottogenere quindi,l’influenza deriva sempre dalla letteratura gotica,ma la musica si sposta dal gothic con voce femminile ad un gothic black metal operistico e sinfonico.

Oltre al vampiro, altre figure rilevanti come fonte d’ispirazione, sono fate e angeli. Comuni sono infatti diademi o ali, usate come accessorio. Possono essere di tutti i colori, anche se sono spesso nere. Infine il cybergoth o cyber-goth ha come tema principale, oltre a quello goth, quello della modernità, del futurismo e della tecnologia, derivato dallo stile e musica cyber. Si ha un uso della plastica, unita al metallo, usata in una sorta di magliette-corazze e accessori. Il colore di sfondo è, come da tradizione, il nero ma sono comuni colori fluorescenti, che vengono usati soprattutto nei dettagli.

Anche i capelli possono avere colori cangianti e/o fluorescenti, così come numerosi accessori, come i lightstick sottoforma di collane o bracciali, che al buio contribuiscono a creare coreografie d’impatto. Un altro materiale usato è il vinile, sia per gli abiti che per extension per i capelli, con cui talvolta vengono creati dreadlocks multicolore.

7 Stile punk:
L’abbigliamento punk è la moda tipica della subcultura punk. Nell’idea iniziale dei suoi precursori, lo stile doveva caratterizzarsi come un rifiuto dei canoni della moda stessa e delle regole, ma nei fatti l’abbigliamento punk si è diviso in moltissimi sottostili con caratteristiche peculiari. Inizialmente l’abbigliamento era costituito da vestiti strappati, pantaloni laceri, catene al collo, tatuaggi e piercing a orecchie, guance e sopracciglia (volutamente ostentati per disprezzo verso la società). Altri elementi dell’abbigliamento erano giacche di pelle, talvolta decorate da scritte spray, spille e vestiti da bondage. La stilista inglese Zandra Rhodes nel 1977 inserì elementi dell’abbigliamento punk nelle sue collezioni, edulcorandone tuttavia gli aspetti più estremi e creando vestiti più eleganti e dal colore acceso.

Negli anni ’80, con l’arrivo dell’hardcore punk, l’abbigliamento si diversificò: vestivano semplici magliette decorate con il nome di una band con la bomboletta spray, jeans, maglietta o camicia di flanella, stivali e catene. Negli stessi anni in Inghilterra, si sviluppò anche l’anarcho punk, sostenuto da gruppi come Crass, Poison Girls e Subhumans, che vestivano solitamente indumenti neri in stile militare, evitando giacche di pelle e prodotti per i capelli testati su animali, a causa delle idee fortemente animaliste del movimento.

Gli anni ’90 non presentarono modifiche sostanziali alla moda punk: tuttora molti punk vestono pantaloni stracciati, giacche di pelle e utilizzano lo stile Mohicano per quanto riguarda i capelli, mentre altri vestono in modo completamente fai da te

8 Stile bohèmien:
Lo stile bohémien, anche questa stagione ispira gli stilisti che ad esso si appellano alla ricerca di un look particolare e d’impatto. Un uomo che attraversa le epoche e gli stili, le influenze, i continenti con facilità. Questa volta lo sguardo è rivolto decisamente verso Est, verso i Balcani e la Russia con un flair smaccatamente vintage tra il figlio dei fiori, il contestatario borghese e il ballerino di disco music.

L’uomo bohèmien veste completi di velluto, con pantaloni leggermente scampanati, camicie con fantasie paisley, lunghe sciarpe ethnic-inspired, cappelli, stringate o stilvaletti in tono. I colori sono, per l’appunto, autunnali e decisamente anni 70: bordeaux, ametista, blu di Prussia, verde petrolio. E tutta la panoplia dei marroni, con alcuni cenni di arancione.

Esempi perfetti di questo stile vestimentario si sono visti da Gucci, dove Frida Giannini ha fatto sfilare tenute decisamente caucasiche e ricordi di suoni di balalaika. Da John Richmond si è visto un gipsy post-moderno, che porta foulard orientali su giacche riccamente ricamate à la Fabergé. Ann Demeulemeester propone invece una sorta di spaventapasseri molto chic, approdato in passerella dai campi di grano con addosso un grande cappello, lo scialle della nonna e un cappotto in mongolia tinto di azzurro. Yves Saint Laurent propone invece una moderna versione del parigino post-sessantottino, aristocraticamente intellettuale e sopra le righe.

9 Stile sporty:
Ed infine trattiamo lo stile Sporty, molto in voga recentemente, in cui le proposte vedono un perfetto connubio tra il mondo del fashion e quello dello sport. E’ proprio così che il maschio metropolitano, che ama la palestra tanto quanto il suo lavoro, può mixare capi d’abbigliamento una volta considerati ai poli opposti.

L’influenza dello sport nelle tendenze della moda è già evidente a partire dai tessuti, Anti-freddo e traspiranti. Colui che fa di questo nome il suo stile è Frankie Morello: per esempio presenta classici blazer in denim abbinati a pantaloni di tuta, in felpa, con inserti in materiale tecnico, oppure l’eccentrica opzione giacca smanicata/cravatta e calzoni con risvolto. Anche il guardaroba per l’ufficio si fa meno formale, più rilassato e più comodo. Così, l’uomo continua ad indossare camicia, cravatta e pantaloni eleganti, ma opta per il giubotto in nylon o per il piumino waterproof.

Dirk Bikkembergs prende spunti da vari sport per le sue collezioni: unisce giacche da sci, berretto e stivali tipici di chi pratica equitazione, dolcevita da alpinisti,insomma un mix di attività sportive, per un uomo che non si ferma mai!

Adesso vi sarà più facile avere un’idea più chiara sulle regole d’abbinamento e di sicuro avrete capito quale stile e quale brand si avvicinano di più ai vostri canoni di moda.

3 Style hippy:

The hippie style is named after the youth movement of the '60s. As well as the Beat movement that preceded it and the punk that was soon after, hippie symbols and iconography showed a low social status, in line with the ideals of poverty and simplicity, with a dress that reflected a lifestyle messy and often vagrant .

Both males and women hippie wore jeans and long hair, and both wore sandals or went barefoot. Males often wear beards. 6 Gothic style:

The Gothic or goth fashion, often improperly called Italy fashion dark, indicate various types of clothing and aesthetic styles that characterize the different categories of the Gothic movement. 7 Punk style:

The punk clothing is fashion typical of the punk subculture.
